2006 Resource Conservation Challenge Grant Program: EPA New England's Assistance and Pollution Prevention (A&P2) Office is combining two related grants opportunities into a single grant program. The Source Reduction Grant Program seeks to prevent pollution at the source of production through toxic use reduction and the more efficient use of materials, energy, water, and natural resources. The Solid Waste Reduction Assistance Program seeks to reduce environmental impacts by promoting recycling, composting, waste minimization, beneficial reuse, market development, and sustainable purchasing practices.
