2008 Census of State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies: The purpose of this award is to provide funding to administer the 2008 Census of State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies (CSLLEA). This census will obtain information about the personnel and functions of State and local law enforcement agencies in the United States with a 2-page data collection form. A sample of agencies will receive a 4-page form instead of the 2-page form, that will collect information related to recruitment, selection, hiring, and retention of sworn personnel.
