2018 DRC, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda: (a) Concept note activities should primarily support refugees and host communities in Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Sud-Ubangi, Nord-Ubangi provinces) as outlined below. Because of PRM's mandate to provide protection, assistance, and sustainable solutions for refugees and victims of conflict, PRM will consider funding only those projects that include a target beneficiary base of at least 50 percent refugees.; (b) Competitive concept notes should: - Include a well-developed plan for training and building the capacity of local staff and service providers as well as building refugee self-sufficiency; - Include an explanation for how the proposed project supports long-term sustainability in line with national strategies, especially for health activities; - Address gaps in services for the most vulnerable including women, children, people living with disabilities, the elderly, and LGBTI refugees; and - For countries (Uganda and Tanzania) implementing the Comprehensive Refugee Response Framework (CRRF) explain how the proposed intervention aligns with the CRRF.; (c) See full notice for Country-specific Provisions and Sectors.
