2019 Rock Creek Park PLC Valley Trail Crew project: The project is to support the Governmentâ¿¿s objective to provide opportunities for youth to learn about the environment by spending time working on projects on public lands. The National Park Service receives the indirect benefit of completing conservation projects, deferred maintenance and needed improvements to recreational trails that are heavily used by park visitors. Trails are a historic feature of the park. Maintaining them ensures that this unique resource in the heart of Washington, DC is safe for trail users now and into the future.
