AMENDMENT NO. 18 TO THE NASA RESEARCH ANNOUNCEMENT (NRA) ENTITLED "RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES IN SPACE SCIENCE (ROSS) 2004," NNH04ZSS001N, RELEASED JANUARY 30, 2004: Due to an error in the initial web-posting of the Solar and Heliospheric Physics Program Element (Appendix C.2) of ROSS 2004, there is confusion about the due date for proposal submission. Two different dates were being shown on the web posting at http://research.hq.nasa.gov/: February 11, 2005, and February 22, 2005. Because there is a possibility that many people have been working towards that later due date, we formally extend the proposal due date for this program element to February 22, 2005. Any proposer who has already submitted a proposal and would like to take advantage of this extra time and submit a revised proposal is asked to send an email to the SYS-EYFUS help desk ([email protected]) alerting them to the fact that a REPLACEMENT proposal will be sent in by February 22, 2005. The due date for Program Element C.2, Solar and Heliospheric Physics, is changed to February 22, 2005. Further information about this Program Element is available from Dr. William J. Wagner, Earth-Sun System Division, Science Mission Directorate, NASA Headquarters, Washington, DC 20546-0001; Telephone: (202) 358-0911; FAX: (202) 358-3987; E-mail: [email protected]. This is a broad agency announcement as specified in FAR 6.102 (d) (2). Notwithstanding the posting of this opportunity at FedBizOpps.gov, Grants.gov, or at both sites, NASA reserves the right to determine the appropriate award instrument for each proposal selected pursuant to this announcement.
