Accessibility Enhancements for Minimum Health and Safety at Recreation Facilities Associated with the Rogue River Basin Project - Fiscal Year 2006: Through a cooperative agreement, Reclamation will transfer funds to one eligible recipient to support and stimulate the provision of minimum basic facilities -- necessary for the public's health and safety and to protect and preserve Federal property -- at recreation areas associated with Reclamation's Rogue River Basin Project at Howard Prairie Reservoir and Emigrant Lake in the state of Oregon. Generally, the selected eligible recipient will retrofit or build certain campsites at campgrounds at Howard Prairie Reservoir and Emigrant Lake to meet (although not exceed) minimum health and safety standards for accessibility for persons with disabilities. The improvements will be consistent with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Pub. L. No. 93-112, s 504, 87 Stat. 355 (codified as amended at 29 U.S.C. s 794 (Supp. V 1981), and will comply with the standards stated in the Americans with Diabilities Act Guidelines (ADAAG) or the Uniform Federal Accessiblity Standards (UFAS) whichever standard provides the greater accessibility.
