Additional Information on Eligibility
Eligibility is limited to Government Institutions within the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) of the Republic of India. This limited eligibility is based on the key objectives of the program which are to strengthen capacity within the Indian government.
Grant Description
The COGH, Global Disease Detection and Emergency Response Division (proposed) is seeking a cooperative agreement with a governmental agency within the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Republic of India to continue further the cooperation between the two countries in areas of health. Both Parties will provide opportunities to exchange ideas, information, skills, and techniques, and to collaborate on problems of mutual interest. This may include exchanges of scientific, technical, and health systems management information; exchanges of scientists and technical experts; the convening of joint seminars, workshops, and meetings; the development of training programs; the conduct of joint research projects; and other forms of health-related scientific and technical cooperation as may be mutually agreed upon. All contacts and activities will serve to promote the national health policies of both countries and be consistent with their priorities.
