Grant Description
The United States Agency for International Development Mission to Nepal (USAID/Nepal) will issue a request for applications called, Advancing Surveillance, policies, prevention, treatment, care and support to fight HIV/AIDS, ASHA. Subject to annual availability of funds, USAID intends to award a cooperative agreement for approximately $14,715,000 to be allocated over the three and one half-year period. USAID reserves the right to fund any or none of the applications submitted. USAID will be substantially involved in the implementation and performance monitoring of this award. Through this award, USAID/Nepal aims to continue to assist His Majestys Government of Nepal (HMG/N) to expand the depth, reach and impact of HIV/AIDS policies, prevention, surveillance, treatment, care and support programs as defined in the National HIV/AIDS Strategy.
