Afghanistan-Pakistan Journalist Exchange Program: The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, invites all eligible organizations (see Section IV for Eligibility Requirements) to submit a proposal for a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Embassy in Kabul to establish and enhance bilateral exchange programs between independent media from Afghanistan and Pakistan. This initiative is expected to encourage unbiased reporting and to promote stronger ties between media from both countries as a means to improve the accuracy of reporting about bilateral issues. This two-year project will facilitate professional connections between key media players from the two countries through exchange visits and shared reporting.
