Grant Description
This is a Notice of Intent to award a non-competitive Task Agreement under the Gulf Coast, Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Master Cooperative Agreement (H500002A271) in accordance with Department of Interior, 505 Departmental Manual 2.12C. The purpose of this project is to to coordinate the development and deployment of a three-part training program for All Hazard Resource Advisors (AH-READs). Building upon previous work to develop a basic classroom-based training, a new set of training tools including an initial basic online training tool, a set of advanced online training modules, and an in-person scenario-based training curriculum will be both developed and deployed. Additionally, lessons learned from previously deployed AH-READs during incidents occurring in 2009-2011 will be compiled for use in developing training materials.
