Alternative Fuel and Advanced Vehicle Procurement Aggregating Initiatives: Amendment 000001 to DE-FOA-0001237. THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO IDENTIFY AWARD CEILING AND AWARD FLOOR VALUES IN STRIPES. THIS IS A SYSTEM REQUIREMENT AND THE FOA DOCUMENT IS NOT CHANGED.

The objective of this FOA is to develop and implement an effective purchasing and procurement process designed to coordinate and consolidate bulk orders of alternative fuel vehicles, subcomponents, advanced vehicle technologies, alternative fuels, and refueling and charging infrastructure to significantly reduce the incremental cost of commercially available vehicles and or critical components in markets nationwide. The process will result in increased deployment of efficient alternative fuel vehicles and an associated reduction in reduced United States dependence on foreign oil.
