Annual Surveys of Jails in Indian Country, 2012-2015: The purpose of this award is to provide funding through a cooperative agreement to administer annually the Survey of Jails in Indian Country (SJIC) data collection and analysis activities for four iterations of the survey: 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. The SJIC is used to describe changes in jail inmate populations in Indian country as well as facility operations and staffing in these jails.
