Assessment of Mojave Desert Toroise Health in the Large Scale Translocation Site: In cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (the Service), San Diego Zoo Global (SDZG) agrees to assess the health of Mojave desert tortoises within the Large-scale Translocation Site (LSTS) relative to tortoises in the surrounding Ivanpah Valley with the objective of assessing disease risks of these two populations mixing.
