Grant Description: Everglades National Park is soliciting proposals for projects for Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) Interim Goal Indicator Development for research in support of the Department of the Interior (DOI) Science Plan, administered by Everglades National Park. The proposals should be to further develop predictive methods for developing interim goals and technical aspects of monitoring and assessment specific to Interim Goal indicators, which are listed on the Interim Goals Agreement, which is signed by the State of Florida, the Department of the Interior, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. All proposals will be considered as new projects that could potentially be funded (with CESI funds) to start as early as January 2007. Proposals to expand existing research activities will be considered. Opportunities for cost-sharing the proposed project with other funding sources are encouraged.
