- The objective of this project is the continuation of research at UCB concerning the effects of Phytophthora cinnamomi on Ione Manzanita and potential measures to halt the spread of the pathogen. Specifically this project will enable UCB researchers to test and evaluate phosphite treatments in the field to determine whether disease progression can be slowed in naturally-infected plant populations through use of phosphite.
