BLM CA Cultural and Archaeologicial Resources, California State Office Statewide Announcement: BLM California has the need to establish a strategic partnership with a recipient that has multiple areas of expertise in conducting cultural and archaeological resource inventories, collections management, resource monitoring, research, vulnerability assessments, and sensitivity modeling for cultural and archaeological resources for the BLM public lands across the entire state. The partnership will allow the recipient and BLM to conduct important fieldwork and studies in a timely fashion, leverage funding and receive documents that are submitted in the correct format guidelines as provided by the BLM.

This financial assistance opportunity is also open to all partners under any Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit -CESU- program. CESUs are partnerships that provide research, technical assistance, and education. If a cooperative agreement is awarded to a CESU partner under a formally negotiated Master CESU agreement, indirect costs are limited to a rate of no more than 17.5% of the indirect cost base recognized in the partner's Federal Agency-approved Negotiated Indirect Cost Rate Agreement (NICRA).
