BLM CA San Joaquin woolly threads seed longevity and climate tolerance study: The primary objectives of this study on San Joaquin woolly threads are to: 1- determine the seed viability curve and estimate maximum seed longevity of San Joaquin woolly threads based on seed viability analysis from herbarium specimens and old seed collections, and 2- examine the response of San Joaquin woolly threads to simulated climates analogous to the Mojave Desert and Sonoran Desert to determine effects of projected climate change on the species.
