BLM NV Historical Pinyon Juniper Woodland Distribution in Central Nevada Project: This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Land Management?s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition. The University of Nevada, Reno and the BLM have a mutual interest for entering into a cooperative agreemnt for developing the data on historical vegetation distribution and understanding Euro-American influences on the vegetation. Data, analyses, and interpretation have application in the management of pinyon-juniper woodlands and sites that might logically be managed as woodlands.
