- Forest management on Federal lands continues to be stymied by the conflicting interests of timber production and habitat protection. In an attempt to find solutions to this conflict, the BLM has initiated a collaborative forestry process. thisproject will allow members of the public, agency employees, and scientists to develop a better understanding applying ecological forestry on Federally managed forest lands.
