BLM Utah Youth Conservation Opportunities on Public Lands: The primary objective of the youth program is to work with Qualified Youth and Conservation Corps to engage individuals, to include tribal youth between the ages of 16 and 30, inclusive, and veterans age 35, recruited from local and surrounding communities to assist with completing projects that help protect and promote multiple-use conservation projects on public lands.

Additional Information on Eligibility
This opportunity is open to any qualified Youth Conservation Corps established by a State or local government, by the governing body of any Indian tribe, or by a qualified nonprofit organization interested in working cooperatively with the BLM to develop and administer projects focused on providing employment, educational, and public-service opportunities for U.S. citizens and legal residents between 16 and 30 inclusive and veterans age 35, recruited from local and surrounding communities to assist with completing projects that help protect and promote multiple-use conservation projects on public lands. No other entities are eligible to respond. All responding non-profit entities must provide a copy of their Section 501(c) (3) status determination letter received from the Internal Revenue Service. Please note that none of these projects or participants will qualify under Section 1725 Resource Assistant (a) Direct Hire Authority.
