BLM WY Catostomid Swim Study: Conduct a preliminary assessment of the swimming performance and behavior of a group of suckers found in the upper Colorado River and Platte River basins to determine if it is possible to use the swimming performance of one species as a surrogate for the performance of other sucker species that may be too rare to allow for extensive laboratory testing.

- All potential applicants who are in the Rocky Mountain CESU network. This financial assistance opportunity is being issued under a Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit ,CESU, Program. CESUs are partnerships that provide research, Technical Assistance, and education. Applications will be accepted from any individual with a formal relationship with one of the existing university participating in the Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit ,CESU, (www.cesu.org) that has the demonstrated ability and experience to conduct research consistent with the goals identified in the Funding Opportunity Description section and who is not employed by a Federal agency.
