This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Land Management's intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition. The intended awarded is the Green River Valley Land Trust.
Grant Description
A. Project Background Information: The goal of the BLM field education programs is to promote stewardship and conservation of public lands by creating opportunities for students of all ages in Sublette County to visit, explore and actively learn more about BLM public lands. B. Project Objective: This project will provide environmental programs to youth on a variety of topics in an effort to sustain and protect open spaces, watersheds, wildlife habitat and ecological values for todays inhabitants and as a legacy for future generations. The objective of this project is to connect the youth of Sublette County to the outdoors and empower them to affect change across the state of Wyoming by inspiring other youth, parents, teachers, and decision-makers to take action.
