BLMOR-WA for the National Operations Center: Identification and Uniform Mapping of Wildlife Cooridors and Crucial Habitat: The objective of this project is to identify crucial wildlife habitat and corridors, and display those areas in a consistent manner across political jurisdictions in Online Planning Tools (OPT). Knowledge of crucial habitat will better enable the BLM in meeting its mission to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. Coordination among states in identification and uniform mapping of wildlife corridors and crucial habitat will increase the consistency and integrate quality data about wildlife, corridors and crucial habitat across regional boundaries.
