Ball Ranch Fishing Pilot Project: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a grant agreement to San Joaquin River Parkway & Conservation Trust, Inc under the authority of Catalog for Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 15.555, San Joaquin River Restoration Program, Public Law 111-11, San Joaquin River Restoration Settlement, Title X, Part I; Section 10002, Section 10004(b)(2), (d)(1)(2), (h)(1) and Stipulation of Settlement CIV NO. S-88-1658-LKK/GGH Paragraph 11(b)(3) (San Joaquin River Restoration Settlement). Estimated total amount of agreement is $26,500.00. The purpose of this agreement is to promote warm-water fishing opportunities in Ball Ranch. The principal objective of this project is to test the viability of measure REC-5, the enhancement of warm-water fishing access, to better determine how to implement this measure when gravel pits are filled or isolated in the future. (Refer to the Notice of Intent to Award Announcement No. R12AS20041 for additional information) A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(2) & (4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
