- Grant Description
- The Office of Naval Research seeks full proposals aimed at understanding and controlling the development of large-scale flow structures in hot, supersonic, shock-containing jet plumes and their contribution to near-field (within 20 nozzle diameters of the jet axis) and far-field (greater than 100 jet diameters) noise. Research areas of interest include: analytical and computational approaches, correlation between flow interactions and noise radiation, advanced diagnostics and experiments, and advanced noise control design methodologies and devices. **************************************************************************************************Applicants shall NOT apply under this Special Notice. Applicants shall apply using the Application Instructions and Package under ONRBAA11-001 by 25 FEB 2011.
