The SAA is responsible for obligating BZPP awards to the responsible jurisdiction(s) that have authority over the curtillage and property around the identified critical infrastructure and key resource (CI/KR) sites.

The BZPP Program grant awards are for project grants, and may be used for planning, equipment, and management of protective actions as related to the program objectives, and will be administered by the respective State Administrative Agency (SAA).
