Building Capacity for Population-Based Surveillance of Autism Spectrum Disorders and Other Developmental Disabilities: CDC?s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, ?Building Capacity for Population-Based Surveillance of Autism Spectrum Disorders and Other Developmental Disabilities.? Approximately $800,000 is available to fund four awards to health departments of states and territories, or their bona fide agents. The program will support applicants to develop a new surveillance system for Autism Spectrum Disorders and other Developmental Disabilities in collaboration with a network of CDC funded surveillance projects known as the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network.
