Building and Sustaining Effective Community Anti-drug Coalitions: Effective community anti-drug coalitions help to establish and strengthen collaboration among communities and reduce substance abuse among youth. The organization undertaking this role would provide assistance in activities which involve training a diverse group of locally based participants in effective community problem-solving strategies by teaching them how to assess their local substance abuse-related problems and how to develop a comprehensive plan to address the problems.
