CESU-Collaborate with the University of West Florida to Develop Mutually Beneficial Learning Experiences in Archaeology: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD: This is not a request for applications. This provides public notice of the National Park Service's intention to award a task agreement under a previously awarded cooperative agreement. The students in this project will gain hands-on experience in the proper monitoring and surveying techniques for archaeological resources, including the stabilization of eroding sites, selection of materials, cataloging and analyzing artifacts, and writing professional reports. The project will directly contribute to the public and interns', understanding of the cultural resources within GUIS, and will promote resource stewardship principles within the crews participating in the project.
