CESU - Special History Study to Document History Associated With the Forks of the Road Slave Market in Natchez, Mississippi: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD: This is not a request for applications. This provides public notice of the National Park Service's intention to award a Cooperative Agreement. This project will produce a Special History Study for Natchez National Historical Park. The study will contextualize the history of slavery in the Natchez area and focus on the history associated with the individual parcels of land within the Forks of the Road slave market district, which is the newest unit of Natchez National Historical Park.
