Grant Description

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is releasing a Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) for the continued support of educators at the existing KSC Educator Resource Center (ERC), using education resources and training to promote Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) education at state or regional level. ERCs distribute and loan NASA- and STEM-themed educational resources to educators. On March 25, 2011 this CAN will be available electronically through the NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System (NSPIRES). This web-based system supports NASA research from the release of solicitation announcements through the peer review and selection processes. Full information is available at http://nspires.nasaprs.com/external. Electronically submitted Notices of Intent to propose are requested. Proposal due date is May 25, 2011. The electronic submission of each proposal's Cover Page/Proposal Summary/Budget Summary is required by the due date for proposal submission. This solicitation leading to the award of a Cooperative Agreement is issued pursuant to title 14 CFR Part 1260 for educational and nonprofit institutions and 14 CFR part 1274 for commercial organizations. Notwithstanding the posting of this opportunity at FedBizOpps.gov, Grants.gov, or at both sites, NASA reserves the right to determine the appropriate award instrument for each proposal selected pursuant to this announcement.
