Canal Classrooms Education Program Support: To Increase education outreach to diverse and underserved (Title I) student audiences through a Transportation Scholarship program. 2) Engage 5 or more school teachers in the NPS Professional Development program- where the teacher and the park benefit from learning with and about each others resources. 3) Improve technology resources available for teachers/students by developing a technology based curriculum program. 4) Encourage teachers to explore and utilize national parks as "outdoor" classrooms and make meaningful connections to the C&O Canal for more than 10,000 school aged children.
