Central Africa Forest Ecosystems Conservation: This Request for Applications (RFA) announces a full and open competition to implement the Central Africa Forest Ecosystems Conservation (CAFEC) project for the third phase of the Central Africa Regional Program for the Environment (CARPE) that will be co-financed by USAID and the Government of Norway's International Climate and Forest Initiative (NICFI). The donors anticipate providing up to eight cooperative agreements under this RFA for a five-year period from October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2018, with a total funding up to $15.2 million per year for the first three years and up to $8.2 million per year for the last two years, depending on availability of funds.
