Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program: CSEPP is funded under the chemical demilitarization program, a major defense acquisition program executed by the Department of Defense. CSEPP augments the Army's Chemical Materials Activity (CMA), whose mission is to safely store the stockpile by ensuring maximum protection to its workers, the public, and the environment. CSEPP resides within the Technological Hazards Division (THD) of the National Preparedness Directorate of FEMA.
