Chesapeake Bay Program Office Fiscal Year 2015 Request for Proposals for Citizens Advisory Committee and Local Government Advisory Committee Support: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agencys (EPA) Chesapeake Bay Program Office (CBPO) is announcing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for supporting both the:
1. Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC); and
2. Local Government Advisory Committee (LGAC).
The CAC, which is composed of residents and citizen stakeholders, serves to advise the Chesapeake Executive Council (Executive Council) and the Principals Staff Committee (PSC), and provides assistance to the Management Board and all of the Goal Implementation Teams (GITs) as needed in the implementation of any agreements signed by the Executive Council, including the 2014 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement(see http://www.chesapeakebay.net/chesapeakebaywatershedagreement/page).
The LGAC, which consists of local elected government officials, serves to advise and provide assistance to the Chesapeake Bay partnership as it relates to increasing local government involvement in the implementation of actions to restore and protect the Chesapeake Bay. As with CAC, the LGAC advises the Executive Council and PSC while providing assistance to the Management Board and all GITs as needed.
