- Foreign institutions are not eligible to apply. Eligible organizations include children's hospitals or departments of pediatrics of approved medical schools in the U.S. that have as a primary teaching site either a general children's hospital or a children's program with an identifiable organizational structure that is part of a larger medical institution. Foreign institutions are not eligible for this institutional career development award. Applications from institutions not previously funded for Child Health Research Career Development Awards are encouraged.
