Children's Health Exposure Analysis Resource (CHEAR): Data Repository, Analysis and Science Center (U2C): NIEHS is establishing an infrastructure, the Childrens Health Exposure Analysis Resource (CHEAR), to provide the extramural research community access to laboratory and statistical analyses to add or expand the inclusion of environmental exposures in their research.CHEAR is a multi-unit infrastructure to provide access to comprehensive exposure assessment for NIH funded studies of Childrens Health.CHEAR is being solicited through three FOAs, this FOA solicits a Data Repository, Analysis, and Science Center (Data Center) for CHEAR.The network has two units in addition to this Data Center, a National Exposure Assessment Laboratory Network and an overall CHEAR Coordinating Center.

The Data Center will provide intellectual and logistical support for the maintenance, analysis, interpretation, curation, and reuse of data generated by CHEAR in support of extramural research projects. The Data Center will provide two distinct services to the extramural community. The Center will support statistical consultation and perform statistical analyses for studies using the CHEAR infrastructure including the development and dissemination of new statistical methods and informatics tools. In addition, the Data Center will develop and manage an exposure data repository and associated data science resources. The ultimate goal is maximizing potential use and impact of exposure data both within and outside of CHEAR.
