Chincoteague NWR - Next Steps: Site Visit and Report with Recommendations Conduct 2 to 3 day visit of Chincoteague Refuge to assess the draft Comprehensive Conservation Plan, here after refered to as CCP. The visit will at a minimum include a tour of pertinent areas, interviews with refuge manager, other staff, and community or political leaders as deemed necessary to obtain background, status, and needs related to major CCP issues. Following visit, prepare report for Regional Chief describing findings and recommendations for action. Prepare report no later than 2 weeks after station visit. Be available for 1 to 2 hour follow-up telecom with Regional Chief to discuss report findings, recommendations, and proposed next steps. Facilitate Public Meetings If and when deemed necessary, based on findings, recommendations, and proposed next steps, provide assistance and/or facilitate public meetings related to the Chincoteague NWR CCP. Staff Workshops If and when deemed necessary, based on findings, recommendations, and proposed next steps, provide workshops related to the Chincoteague NWR CCP development, communications, and public relations. Incumbent must have CCP experience and have facilitated public meetings and conducted workshops.
