- *** THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY THAT IS SPECIFIC TO THE CITY OF ORLANDO. PLEASE READ THE FULL REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY *** The City of Orlando is soliciting proposals from qualified proposers to conduct a detailed random, representative, and scientific survey as described within this RFP with the results to be incorporated into the Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development Programs (Plan). The successful proposer will develop, implement, and analyze this survey to assess the internal and external conditions of housing stock within the City of Orlando. This research will be of great assistance to Housing Department staff in identifying and prioritizing the use of federal and state funds allocated for the development of affordable housing, establishing a baseline from which to measure progress for removing/improving substandard housing, and gaining a more detailed comprehension of the housing market in Orlando. Finally, it will allow staff to focus their reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts on areas, which need the most assistance. Coordination of this project is imperative and is outlined in the scope of work section of this RFP.
