Grant Description
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requests proposals from public entities that will ultimately result in the award of one or more cooperative agreements to identify and develop innovative structural or CEM designs and associated technologies that can be retrofitted into existing LRVs such that in the event of a collision, injuries to pedestrians and passengers of street vehicles are minimized and the potential for LRV derailment in such a collision is reduced.
