Colorectal Cancer Screening Demonstration Program: CDCs Procurement and Grants Office has published a request for application announcement entitled, Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Screening Demonstration Program. $600,000 [this amount is an estimate, and subject to the availability of funds] will be available in fiscal year 2005 to fund three to five awards. The purpose of this program is to establish demonstration programs to increase population-based CRC screening among persons 50 years and older in geographically defined areas and to focus screening efforts on person with low incomes and inadequate or no health insurance coverage for CRC screening..
