Combating Gender Based Violence in Georgia: The International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Section (INL) of the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia is pleased to announce an open competition for assistance awards through this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the program titled “Combating Gender Based Violence in Georgia”. The International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Section (INL) invites Georgian non-profit/non-governmental organizations to submit proposals to implement a one-year project in support of victims of gender-based violence (GBV) in Georgia, through a Cooperative Agreement with the Department of Justice, Resident Legal Advisor Program. The award is designed to: (1) strengthen the capacity of the Victim Witness Coordinators Agency (VWCA) of the Prosecution Service; (2) to increase support to GBV victims; and (3) to increase the legislative options for the victims of GBV crimes. The direct beneficiaries of this program will be the VWCA and victims of GBV crimes. INL will award a one-year project.
