The award will be restricted to Local Organizations and any organization with which the principal Applicant may choose to use as a sub-awardee. Only local organizations as defined below are eligible for award. For purposes of consistency and reporting, the definition of “local entity” means an individual, a corporation, a nonprofit organization, or another body of persons that”: (a) Is legally organized under the laws of Mozambique; (b) Has as its principal place of business or operations in Mozambique ; (c) Is majority owned by individuals who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of Mozambique; and (d) Is managed by a governing body the majority of who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of the country receiving assistance.
