Community Connections: Introducing the Public to the Nulhegan Basin Division: Applicants will be expected to develop and deliver programming that informs the community at large about the respective roles of the Nulhegan Basin Division, the Silvio O. Conte National Fish and Wildlife Refuge, and the National Wildlife Refuge System with regard to wildlife conservation and management. Also, applicant will be expected to describe the management activities at the Nulhegan Basin, including the various recreational opportunities available to the public. Programming will need to target youth and adults in northern Essex County, VT for 25 percent of the project; Essex, Orleans, and Caledonia Counties, VT for 75 percent of the project; and the broader area of northern VT and NH 100 percent. Programs will need to emphasize multiple interactions and participants of programs will be expected to participate in experiential activities at the refuge's facilities in Bruswick, VT, and on the refuge lands.
