Community-based Resilience Programming in the Arid Lands of Kenya: OFDA seeks to fund an international non-governmental organization to build capacity and technical knowledge in Kenyan NGOs through the oversight and implementation of DRR programs that build community-level resilience to future droughts. This solicitation has two main goals: Partner with Kenyan NGOs to deliver resilience programming in one or more of the following counties: Turkana, Garissa, Wajir, Mandera and Marsabit, and; Through that programming, build the capacity of national organizations to respond to future disasters in their communities and increase programmatic capacity.
