Conducting Public Health Evaluations (PHE) to Answer Programmatically Relevant Questions Related to the Scale Up of Counseling, Testing, Care, and Treatment in the Coastal Kilifi District in the Republic of Kenya under: Secretarys Forecast Summary CDC-RFA-PS07-745 CDCs Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, "Conducting Public Health Evaluations (PHE) to Answer Programmatically Relevant Questions Related to the Scale Up of Counseling, Testing, Care, and Treatment in the Coastal Kilifi District in the Republic of Kenya under the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief." Approximately $400,000 will be available in fiscal year 2007 to fund approximately one award to organizations comprising a consortium of the Kilifi District Hospital. The purpose of the program is to enable the District Hospital in Coastal Kilifi, in the Republic of Kenya, in collaboration with a research institution, to address key policy questions related to HIV/AIDS through operation research and evaluation, and through the piloting of new, innovative programmatic approaches.
