- Grant Description
- NRCS requests applications for Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies. Applications are accepted for proposals that with be implemented in the State of Florida. For FY 2008, up to $150,000 is available for the State CIG competition. Funds will be awarded through a competitive grants process. There are three CIG components available in FY 2008: Natural Resource Concerns Component, Technology Component, and the Wildlife Component. Applications are requested from eligible government or non-government organizations or individuals for competitive consideration of grant awards for projects between one and three years in duration. This notice identifies the objectives for CIG projects, the eligibility criteria for projects and associated instructions needed to apply to CIG.
