Continuation of the Clinical Centers for the Drug Induced Liver Injury Network [DILIN] (U01): The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to encourage applications from qualified investigators from clinical centers for the continuation of the Drug-induced Liver Injury Network (DILIN). This network will consist of up to 5 clinical center sites and a single data coordinating center. Drug-induced liver injury is one of the more challenging forms of liver disease; both in diagnosis and management. Several hundred drugs, nutritional supplements and herbal medications have been implicated in causing liver injury. Their clinical presentation can be highly variable and mimic almost any form of liver disease.
