Eligible Applicants Assistance will be provided only to the Cooperative Agreement with the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) of Georgia. No other applications are solicited. NCDC is the most appropriate and qualified agency to conduct the activities specified under this cooperative agreement because: Cooperative Agreement with the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) of Georgia is the only organization in Georgia that possesses the requisite legal authority and expertise, the infrastructure capacity and who has the primary responsibility within the Georgian government to address public health issues. These combined attributes make them uniquely qualified as the only organization eligible in Georgia for carrying out the broad, comprehensive and long-term public health program activities proposed for this cooperative agreement.
