Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, Great Lakes Northern Forests (CESU) Program: The U.S. Geological Survey⿿s (USGS) Great Lakes Science Center solicits research on ⿿Lower Maumee River Region Restoration Potential Study.⿝ This research will provide scientific information about aquatic habitat, fish, and invertebrate populations in the lower Maumee River and surrounding region in and near Toledo, Ohio. The information is critical for local, state, and Federal partners to make decisions concerning the location and approach of major aquatic restoration projects in order to remove Beneficial Use Impairments under the Federal Great Lakes Area of Concern (AOC) program.
